14-Day Notice: Cancellations and rescheduling requests require at least 14 days' notice. No refunds or rescheduling within 14 days of class.

One-Time Workshops: No make-ups for missed sessions.

Multi-Session Series: Make-ups must occur within the same course cycle.
All policies are strictly enforced. No exceptions.

Family Pottery Hour (Ages 6–12)

1 Session | 1 Hour | $35
A playful handbuilding session for young artists and their families.

Parent/guardian must remain on-site.

Adults and loved ones who wish to handbuild must purchase their own seat.

Create-in-a-Day: Pottery Class for Teens & Adults (Ages 13+)

Pottery Series (BEGINNER & CONTINUING) – Ages 16+
Wednesday at 5:00 pm and Saturday at 11:30am
6 Sessions | 2.5 Hours Each | $300
Designed for new and returning students, this six-session series focuses primarily on wheel throwing, with a basic introduction to handbuilding.
New students learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including centering, forming, trimming, glazing, and finishing functional pieces. Returning students strengthen their techniques, improve consistency, and refine their forms through guided practice and more independent projects.
No experience required. Returning students are welcome!

Pottery Series (INTERMEDIATE) – Ages 16+

The next step for students ready to refine technique and create larger, more intentional forms.
Focus on sectional construction, advanced surface work, and cohesive pieces.

IIndependent studio time for practicing skills and continuing projects.
PREREQUISITE: Completion of an Amapola Arts Pottery Series or demonstrated equivalent experience (minimum ~1 year recent practice).
Those without prior Amapola Arts experience must complete a brief studio orientation before their first session.
