Additional Information

​

  • Includes up to 1 hour before the event for setup and 1 hour after for cleanup

  • Complimentary coffee and water included

  • Food and additional beverages must be provided by the event organizer

  • Room setup requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the event


Retail Gallery Operations

Amapola Arts is an active retail gallery and remains open for regular shopping during events. Guests are welcome to browse artwork and handcrafted goods created by local artists and makers.

Booking Information

  • $100 non-refundable deposit required to reserve your date

  • Final payment and confirmed attendance are due 14 days before the event

  • Outside vendors must be approved in advance

  • Event organizers are responsible for their guests, vendors, and event materials

  • Registration management and promotional support are only included with the Studio Rental + Event Support package

  • Any specialized materials, display fixtures, signage, décor, or equipment beyond those included in the rental package are the responsibility of the event organizer unless otherwise agreed upon in writing


Cancellation Policy

  • More than 14 days before the event: deposit remains non-refundable; rescheduling may be accommodated based on availability

  • Within 14 days of the event: all payments are non-refundable

Amapola Arts Studio is available for small gatherings, educational programs, and community events, including:

Studio Rental — $250

Up to 3 hours


Includes:

  • Studio space

  • Tables and chairs

  • Setup and cleanup

  • On-site support

  • Speaker, microphone, and projector



Studio Rental + Event Management Support — $350

Everything in Studio Rental, plus:

  • Social media promotion

  • Event listing in our newsletter (when available)

  • Registration management

  • RSVP list for organizers


Capacity

​

  • Workshops and Seated Presentations: Up to 20 guests

  • Open House, Reception, or Networking Events: Up to 40 guests

  • Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays after 5:00 PM (time mutually agreed upon)

  • Sundays between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM

Party (Wheel + Handbuilding)

  • Guests rotate between wheel throwing and handbuilding

  • Each guest creates two pottery pieces

  • Pottery includes glazing and kiln firing (ready for pickup in approximately 3–4 weeks)

  • Base Package: $700 for up to 8 guests

  • Additional Guests: +$70 each (maximum 18 guests)


Combo (Canvas + Pottery Handbuilding)

  • Guests rotate between canvas painting and pottery handbuilding

  • Each guest creates one canvas painting and one pottery piece

  • Pottery includes glazing and kiln firing (ready for pickup in approximately 3–4 weeks)

  • Base Package: $750 for up to 8 guests

  • Additional Guests: +$80 each (maximum 18 guests)


Full Studio Experience (Canvas + Wheel + Handbuilding)

  • Guests rotate between canvas painting, wheel throwing, and handbuilding

  • Each guest creates one canvas painting and two pottery pieces

  • Pottery includes glazing and kiln firing (ready for pickup in approximately 3–4 weeks)

  • Base Package: $800 for up to 8 guests

  • Additional Guests: +$90 each (maximum 18 guests)

Private Parties at Amapola Arts (Ages 6+)

Perfect for birthdays, team outings, family gatherings, and special celebrations.

Adult and corporate groups welcome.

All Parties Include:

  • 3 hours of private studio use

  • Two teaching artists

  • Guided instruction & all art supplies

  • Complimentary coffee, water, and a signature mocktail

  • Outside food, beverages, and decorations welcome


Booking Details:

  • 6–18 guests • Ages 6+

  • Fridays or Saturdays after 5 PM (time mutually agreed upon) or Sundays between 12 PM–8 PM

  • 3-hour private event

  • $250 non-refundable deposit required to reserve party date


⚠️ Important Booking & Guest Count Information:

  • Final payment and confirmed guest count are due 14 days prior to the event

  • Once the final guest count is confirmed, guest counts cannot be reduced

  • Refunds are not provided for cancellations, no-shows, guest count reductions, or changes in attendance within 14 days of the event

  • Guests may be substituted at any time prior to the event

  • Private party bookings require advance staffing, scheduling, materials preparation, and kiln scheduling
