Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least two weeks before the start of class. After that window, refunds are not available.
Because our classes are intentionally small and hands-on, spots fill quickly. Notifying us early allows us to offer your space to another artist.
Make-ups are not available for one-time workshops or single-session classes if missed. For multi-session series, make-ups must occur within the same course cycle, as sessions cannot be made up once the course ends.

Family Pottery Hour (Ages 4–12)
Saturday at 9:00am | Offered Twice Monthly
1 Session | 1 Hour | $35
A playful handbuilding session for young artists and their families.

Create-in-a-Day: Pottery Class for Teens & Adults (Ages 13+)
Saturday at 1:30pm | Offered Twice Monthly
1 Session | 2 Hours | $65
A beginner-friendly workshop exploring handbuilding and the pottery wheel in one immersive session.

Pottery Series (BEGINNER) – Ages 16+
Saturday at 10:30am
6 Sessions | 2.5 Hours Each | $270
A structured introduction to wheel throwing and handbuilding.
Build foundational skills in centering, trimming, glazing, and finishing functional forms.

2.5 hours instruction + 30 minutes clean-up.
Open Studio
(Returning Students Only)
Tuesday at 5:00pm and Wednesday at 12:00pm
1 Session | 2.5 Hours | $35
Independent studio time for practicing skills and continuing projects.
Prerequisite: Completion of an Amapola Arts Pottery Series or demonstrated equivalent experience (minimum ~1 year recent practice).
Those without prior Amapola Arts experience must complete a brief studio orientation before their first session.

Open Studio Session Passes
Flexible studio time without weekly commitment.

5 Sessions — $165 (valid for 2 months)

10 Sessions — $300 (valid for 4 months)
Passes may be stored on your phone or a physical card.
Shelf space is reserved for active Open Studio participants. Members who have not attended Open Studio for 60 consecutive days may be contacted regarding any work or materials remaining on their shelf.
